Denver & Cat Canyon Western

The Denver & Cat Canyon Western model railroad is a Freelanced Sn3 scale that depicts life (as I see it) in the early 20th century. Although not specific to any particular railroad, it does follow the narrow gauge railroads that operated in the Colorado and New Mexico region of our country in what was referred to as the “Narrow Gauge Circle. “Denver & Cat Canyon Western model railroad is based on western narrow gauge logging and mining railroads in the Rocky Mountains around the 1940-50’s The layout is hand laid code 70/55 rail with some flex track in hidden staging area. Control is through a
wireless NCE DCC system with 18 power districts. All locomotives are sound equipped, as are a few of the
structures (listen for sheep baying, boards being cut, water rushing etc.).
