DesertOps 2026 Operations Event
Event Dates
October 23–25, 2026 Hosted by Phoenix‑area layout owners.
Operating Sessions
Friday Evening Session – 5:30pm
Saturday Day Session – 10:00am
Saturday Group Dinner – 6:00pm
Sunday Day Session – 9:30am
Outlaw sessions will also be available in addition to the scheduled sessions.
Layouts
Desert Ops 2026 will feature many of our existing railroads, all of which have been updated, improved, or expanded since Desert Ops 2024. At least two new layouts will be added, with the possibility of a third.
Registration
Registration opens Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 12:00pm (High Noon) Arizona time. Registration is first come, first served, and each participant must complete their own registration form. Approximately 31 slots will be available.
Reminder emails will be sent prior to registration opening to ensure everyone has adequate notice.
Hotel
The event hotel will be the Embassy Suites in Tempe
Participation
Desert Ops is an open event — no invitation is required. If you know someone interested in attending, feel free to share this information.
